Maybe we do need to move to Hawaii!

My little surfer child . . .if we ever move to Hawaii I know where I'll find Isaac! Mom wouldn't mind either!

The beach

We went to Panama City for a few days but got rained out! We still enjoyed 2 1/2 days of awesome weather and beautiful sunsets. The kids loved playing football in the water and Isaac discovered skimboarding, which was right up his alley!

Celebrating with Cousins

The boys got to help their cousin Kris celebrate his 19th birthday and send him off to the University of Mobile to start school. It was fun to catch up with family and spend time together - we don't get to do that too often!

Baltimore, Maryland

The boys and Ashleigh flew out of Baltimore to Birmingham - Jamey had to stay behind in VA for IMB Meetings. We even got to wander around Baltimore Inner Harbor which was beautiful. Ashleigh's mom was born there so it was neat to see the area!

Touring the Capitol

We set up a tour through our Senator's office and learned lots of neat things - Jamey saw Senator John Kerry and of course started talking to him like they were old buddies! (at least John Kerry spoke back!)

Seeing Uncle Sami

We were able to celebrate Isaac's 9th birthday while in DC and visit our Uncle Sami who works at the Pentagon. The boys were thrilled to get to see Uncle Sami!
