Paddleboats

Our cool paddleboat that we used to "tour" around the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

Baltimore, Maryland

The boys and Ashleigh flew out of Baltimore to Birmingham - Jamey had to stay behind in VA for IMB Meetings. We even got to wander around Baltimore Inner Harbor which was beautiful. Ashleigh's mom was born there so it was neat to see the area!

Touring the Capitol

We set up a tour through our Senator's office and learned lots of neat things - Jamey saw Senator John Kerry and of course started talking to him like they were old buddies! (at least John Kerry spoke back!)

Seeing Uncle Sami

We were able to celebrate Isaac's 9th birthday while in DC and visit our Uncle Sami who works at the Pentagon. The boys were thrilled to get to see Uncle Sami!

The White House

The kids got a kick out of seeing the White House - except Nathaniel was fairly insistent on seeing The Oval Office. That didn't pan out!

Williamsburg, VA

I tried to buy one of these to bring home but for some reason they weren't for sale!

Our Road Trip to DC

We stopped off in Virginia to see some dear friends and were able to visit Jamestown and Williamsburg. One of the boys favorite things was riding the ferry across the James River into Jamestown!
